You have decided on a course of study, now it’s time for you to apply.
For 2022 - 2023 BUas will allow a maximum of 25 students to this masters’s programme. These students are selected through three selection rounds where the deadlines for application (see below; steps 1 and step 2) are 1 April, 15 May and 1 July respectively. In the event that the maximum number of students is reached after the first three rounds, there will not be an extra round in August and applicants will be put on a waiting list. Therefore we highly recommend applying in time.
Ultimate deadline to submit your application package: 15 August.
According to Dutch law, non-EU students are unfortunately not permitted to attend a part-time or executive degree programme in the Netherlands. Step 1: Enter your enrolment application in Studielink
You are to apply through Studielink, the application and enrolment portal provided by the Netherlands Ministry of Education.
You can track the status of your application on your personal Studielink page and in the progress overview in My Online Application.
Step 2: Apply via My Online Application
Once you have submitted your Studielink enrolment application, you will receive an email inviting you to follow up on your Studielink enrolment application by applying in My Online Application.
In My Online Application you will be requested to answer additional questions and to upload your application documents: CV, motivation letter, ID, your bachelor's documents including transcript of records (or a transcript of records with you latest results / overview if you have yet to obtain your bachelor's degree. Once the admissions officer has checked your educational background, you will receive an invitation for an intake interview with the programme coordinator.
Step 3: Interview
During the intake interview you are to prepare a short pitch. The pitch and intake interview allows the institute to determine if are able to adequately demonstrate:
- Having a job in the events industry.
- Awareness and vision on developments in the events industry.
- Relevant experience in the events industry.
- Capability for reflection and critical thinking required by a master’s programme.
- Ability to elucidate upon your motivation for joining the programme .
- Satisfactory levels of English communication skills.
BUas will create a waiting list once the maximum of 40 students are admitted. If places fall free, whatever the reason, candidates on the waiting list will be allowed into the master's programme in chronological order. If the student is allowed into the programme, they will receive an official admission e-mail. In the case of conditional admission, you will be requested to upload your bachelor's degree documents and/or English test results at a later stage in My Online Application.
