PPC-medewerker

As a PPC Officer (0.8–0.9 FTE) at Breda University of Applied Sciences (BUas), you will be working in the Project, Planning & Control (PPC) team, which is part of Finance, Control & Student Services (FC&S). In this role, you will be an administrative all-rounder, supporting external projects while ensuring that internal projects are run efficiently and effectively. You will be based at our green, sustainable campus near the centre of Breda.

About this job

As a PPC Officer (0.8–0.9 FTE), you will act as the link between project leaders and colleagues across the various services and academies at Breda University of Applied Sciences (BUas). You will be part of the Project, Planning & Control (PPC) team, which consists of five colleagues. Working alongside and supporting the PPC Officers assigned to the academies, you will serve as the point of contact for project leaders, sponsors, finance, policymakers, and senior management involved in the implementation of internal strategy projects at BUas. You will provide support where needed, ensuring financial and project-related insight across both internal and external projects.

The internal strategy projects you will be involved in cover areas such as student well-being, professional development, sustainable AI applications, and flexible education. To ensure that the project leaders and project teams can focus on the substantive aspects of their projects, you will be responsible for supporting the accurate, complete and timely submission of the documentation required for reporting to the Executive Board, the Supervisory Board, the auditor and the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science. You will handle queries and provide advice on project management, such as support in drawing up project plans, progress reports, and the administrative processing of project deployment and project costs. You will also maintain an overview of ongoing projects and support the timely and accurate preparation of project plans, progress reports, and final reports.

You will also provide administrative support for external projects. These include various national and European research projects, for which you will handle administrative tasks such as recording project hours, issuing invoices, scheduling meetings, and creating project files and timesheets. You will also assist your colleagues within the team, on request, with organising events and other PPC activities.
