The Dutch government is attempting to make Dutch higher education as accessible as possible to students and mid-career professionals from other countries. In the Netherlands, higher education is subsidised for students from EEA countries, Surinam or Switzerland (please mind the additional conditions - pdf), which means that tuition fees can be kept relatively low, especially compared with the United Kingdom and the United States.
Sometimes scholarships can be used as an allowance. The overview below contains several scholarships that may be useful for you.
- BUas Bachelor Scholarship

It consists of a € 3,000 reduction of the tuition fee in the first year of studying at BUas and a € 1,500 reduction of the tuition fee in the consecutive years.

- ACSI scholarship
With this ACSI scholarship programme BUas supports two students from 2023 to 2025 who want to attend the Master Sustainable Outdoor Hospitality Management and are admissible.
With more than 55 years of experience in the camping world, ACSI is a household name among campers and campsites. Nearly 300 internally trained inspectors set out each year to visit over 10,000 campsites to gather information for our camping guides, websites and apps. This helps tens of thousands of campers find their ideal campsite every year.
Camping is in our blood and as Europe's camping specialist we like to invest in educating the future generation of campsite owners. It is they who will have to provide campers with unforgettable holidays in the decades to come. And at a time when managing a campsite is becoming increasingly comprehensive, this first specific study programme in campsite management is a welcome addition. Of course we want to familiarise students with ACSI as a camping specialist, but we could also contribute a lot of know-how.
