Application and selection procedure

Creative Business

Do you have a diploma from a Dutch education institution (diplomas from the ABC- & SSS Islands not included)? Please follow the application procedure for Dutch students.

International students

The Creative Business programme selects all of its 180 students, to which end it applies a selection procedure. 

Make sure you apply before the deadline of 1 May.  

Application steps 

Step 1: Enter your enrolment application in Studielink 

You are to enrol via Studielink,the application and enrolment application for higher education programmes in the Netherlands. 

You can track the status of your application on your personal Studielink page and in the progress overview in My Online Application. 

Step 2: Apply via My Online Application 

Once you have submitted your Studielink enrolment, you will receive an email inviting you to follow up on your Studielink application by applying in My online application. 

In My Online Application you will be requested to answer additional questions (e.g. about your English proficiency) and to upload your application documents; CV, Motivation letter, ID, your secondary school diploma including grade list and translation (if these documents are not in one of the following languages: English, French, German or Dutch) or your most recent grade list if you have not yet obtained your diploma.

Step 3: Take part in the selection procedure 

Part 1: Online intake assessment

Once the admissions officer has checked and (conditionally) approved your educational background, you will do an online intake assignment. The online assessment must be completed no later than 15 May and consists of the following parts:

  • Application letter
  • CV
  • Study skills test
  • Previous knowledge test

After completing the online part of the assessment, you can choose a date for the interview on the assessment website.

If you complete the assignments before 10 January, you can choose whether you want to do the interview in February or in May/June. If you complete them after 10 January (but no later than 15 May), the interview will take place in May/June.

Part 2: Face-to-face interview

Once you have fully completed the online intake assessment, you will receive an invitation for a face-to-face intake interview (live on campus or via MS Teams).

Result

Based on the total score, it is decided whether or not you will be admitted, placed on the waiting list or rejected.

  • February interviews: no later than 28 February
  • May/June interviews: no later than 1 July

In the case of conditional admission, you will be requested to upload your diploma documents and/or English test results in a later stage in My online application.  

 

Step 4: Complete your enrolment: payment of tuition fee 

In order to complete your enrolment, you need to confirm your digital authorisation or pay your tuition fee. More information about payment of tuition fee
