Application and selection procedure

Creative Business

Would you like to apply and do you have a diploma from a non-Dutch education institution? Please follow the procedure below. Do you have a diploma from a Dutch education institution (diplomas from the ABC- & SSS Islands not included)? Please follow the application procedure for Dutch students.

International applicants

The Creative Business programme admits 190 students each year through a selection procedure.  

Make sure you apply before the deadline of 15 June (EU and Dutch students). You then have until 23 June to complete your assessment. The application deadline for non-EU applicants remains 1 May, due to visa application requirements.

Tip: Don't wait until the last minute! The earlier you apply, the sooner you will hear whether you have been accepted. This is because we review applications as they come in, so you will quickly know where you stand. 
 

 

Application steps 

Step 1: Submit your application via Studielink

You are required to apply via  Studielink, the platform for enrolment in higher education programmes in the Netherlands. You can track the status of your application on your personal Studielink page and in the progress overview in My Online Application.

Step 2: Apply via My Online Application 

After submitting your application in Studielink, you will receive an email inviting you to complete your application in My Online Application. This must be done Please make sure to do so by 17 June, 5 PM 17:00 CET.

In My Online Application, you'll be asked to answer additional questions (e.g., about your English proficiency) and upload the following documents: 

  • Curriculum vitae (resume)
  • ID / Passport
  • Secondary school diploma with grade list and translation (if not in English, French, German, or Dutch), or your most recent grade list if you haven’t yet received your diploma. 

You can track the status of your application in My Online Application. 

Step 3: Take part in the selection procedure 

Part 1: Online intake assessment

Once your educational background is conditionally approved, you'll be asked to complete an online assessment by 23 June. This includes:

  • Application letter
  • CV
  • Study skills test
  • Previous knowledge test

After completing the online assessment, you will be invited to an interview on 26 June or 3 July.

Part 2: Interview

Once the online assessment is complete, you’ll be invited to a face-to-face interview ( via MS Teams). 

Result 
You will receive your result within two weeks after the interview. Based on your total score, you’ll be either admitted, placed on the waiting list, or rejected.

In the case of conditional admission, you will be requested to upload your diploma documents and/or English test results in a later stage in My online application.  

 

Step 4: Complete your enrolment: payment of tuition fee 

In order to complete your enrolment, you need to confirm your digital authorisation or pay your tuition fee. You can find more information about the payment of the tuition fee here. This will be possible starting from May. You will receive an e-mail for this purpose, with the request to enter your payment details via your ‘To do’ list in Studielink. Please make sure you arrange this before 1 August.
