Application procedure

Urban Tourism and Mobility

We aim for an international classroom with a good balance in diversity in educational backgrounds and international work experience.

Application

Please note: If you choose Urban Tourism and Mobility, please register in Studielink for the Master Tourism Destination Management. You can then choose the Urban Tourism and Mobility specialisation in the application. 

We recommend completing Application steps 1 and 2 by 1 July. While the final deadline is 15 August, applications submitted after 1 July will only be reviewed after 15 August due to the summer holidays.  

 

Application steps

Step 1: Enter you enrolment application in Studielink

Start your application by submitting your enrolment application through Studielink, the official Dutch portal for higher education. 

Step 2: Apply via My Online Application

After submitting your Studielink application, you will receive an email with instructions to continue your application in My online application. Here, you will need to provide additional details (e.g. about your English proficiency) and upload the following documents:

  • Your CV (resume)
  • A motivation letter
  • A copy of your passport or ID
  • Your Bachelor’s diploma and transcript of records (or a recent transcript if you have not graduated yet)
  • An official translation of your documents (if not in English, Dutch, French, or German)
  • Contact details of at least two references (one academic and one business reference). More information regarding these references will be provided to you in due time in My online application.

After your documents have been reviewed by our admissions team and you (conditionally) meet the educational and English language requirements, your application will be assessed by the academy.

Step 3: Interview 

If your profile is considered to be suitable for the master's programme, you will receive an invitation for an intake interview. In this invitation the intake interview dates and procedure will be explained clearly. Within max. 5 working days after the final interview or after having received all requested documents, you will be informed about whether or not you have been (conditionally) admitted to the programme. 

Step 4: Complete your enrolment; payment of tuition fee

To complete your enrolment, confirm your digital payment authorisation or pay your tuition fee. More information about payment of tuition fee.
