Advancing tourism technology for a better future
Digital transformation is no longer a buzzword, it’s the engine driving the evolution of tourism. At ENTER26, we ask: How can we harness technological innovation to create a future of tourism that is not only smarter, but more inclusive, ethical, and sustainable?
ENTER26 aims to bridge visionary research with practical implementation, fostering resilient tourism systems that serve businesses, communities, and the planet through rigorous research, debates, and inspiring case studies.
During the conference we explore the theme advancing tourism technology for a better future covering the following topics:
- Digital innovations for sustainability, equity, and resilience
- Ethical frameworks for responsible tech deployment
- Scaling smart technologies while preserving human connection and cultural authenticity
- Technology-enabled value co-creation with tourists, employees, and communities
- Impact of new tools on learning, leadership, and labor in tourism
- ICT's role in regenerative and climate-positive tourism
Professor Jessika Weber Sabil, Digital Transformation in Cultural Tourism at BUas, will act as a Local Chair of the conference. Together with Professor Aurkene Alzua-Sorzabal (Nebrija University and University of Deusto, Spain) and Professor Alessandro Inversini (EHL – Hospitality Business School, Switzerland), she will be chairing ENTER26 eTourism conference with a team of leading researchers and practitioners.
