BUas Alumni Event

Programme

Would you like to attend the Alumni Event on Friday 11 September? If so, you can choose from three options. You can take part in the afternoon programme organised by your former study/academy and then join the reception with drinks and food. There is also an opportunity to attend the BUas opening of the academic year. The Minister for Foreign Affairs, Tom Berendsen, will be giving a keynote speech there.

It is also possible to simply join the Alumni Drinks at the end of the afternoon and evening.

Once upon a time in Breda quiz

• 14.00 - 14.30 hrs: Welcome reception with coffee and tea
• 14.30 - 14.45 hrs: Word of welcome by Ajay Kapur (Academy Director of Leisure & Events) and Lars Davids (Account Manager & Alumni Coordinator)
• 15.00 – 16.30 hrs: Pub quiz
• 16.30 hrs: Drinks reception and live music begin

Tourism

• 14.30 – 15.00 hrs: Welcome reception. 
  Arrive, grab a drink and settle in while a specially curated playlist takes you straight back to your NWIT/NHTV/BUas days.
• 15.00 – 15.25 hrs: Opening.
  The slightly more formal part of the afternoon – our director warmly welcomes you, memories are shared, and if you'd like, you'll have the chance to say a few words yourself.
• 15.30 – 16.15 hrs: Pub quiz  
  You studied hard, completed your placements and travelled the world. Now prove you know your stuff; from global cities and hidden destinations to the biggest hits of your student years. From world maps to music charts, from holiday resorts to BUas legends: four rounds will reveal who was really paying attention. Are you up for the challenge?
• 16.25 hrs: Prize ceremony 
  Who will be crowned Tourism pub quiz champion?
• 16.30 hrs: Party time! 
  The rest of the afternoon and evening is yours – fun, laughter and catching up with fellow alumni, former lecturers and students on the Ceremony Field, where all alumni come together.
