Introduction events
Starting a new study is exiting. You will learn to know a lot of new people, a new city and even a new country. To make this a little easier, you will start your studies with an informative and pleasant introduction period.
Ready for take-off!
Breda University of Applied Sciences (BUas) is organising a fun introduction programme to prepare you, as a future BUas student, as well as possible for your life as a student in Breda. During an introduction event, you will get to know your classmates and fellow students, your lecturers, the campus and the charming student city of Breda a little better. You will do so through all sorts of activities that will take place this year on our campus and in Breda.
In addition to this introduction fun programme, an informative kick-off day will be organised for international students.
Four events
BUas offers four introduction events:
- Camp Lost for the programmes of the Academy for Games & Media;
- InterSib for the programmes of the Academy for Hotel & Facility;
- Intro ABEL for the programmes of the Academy for Built Environment & Logistics;
- Unexpected Journey for the programmes of the Academy for Tourism and the Academy for Leisure & Events.
For the academic year of 2023-2024, these introduction events will take place in the week from Monday 28 August 2023. Programme details and dates will be different for each introduction event.
The cost of joining this year's introduction programme ranges from €150 to €160. This includes the full programme, meals on the introduction days, and your own introduction T-shirt.
