Tenth anniversary of BUas seminar week for Audencia Media students

Last week, BUas welcomed a group of students from Audencia Business School in Nantes (France), for a one-week intensive seminar on Media and Culture & Arts, marking the tenth consecutive year of this successful collaboration. Each year, students from Audencia's MSc programme in Culture and Arts Management visit the Academy for AI, Games & Media in Breda as part of their curriculum, specialising in audiovisual production to enhance their expertise in the field.

  • About BUas
  • Global engagement

During the first five years, the programme featured numerous workshops, including a transmedia storytelling concept. In 2023, we revamped the programme to offer a more hands-on and interactive experience, where students collaborated with Production House students to create a video. Since the programme's inception, we have included a visit to the Efteling, leveraging the storytelling expertise of colleagues from the Academy for Leisure & Events.

This year, the customised week-long programme included workshops and visits, enabling students to create and produce a ten-minute, multi-camera, magazine-style studio show about red flags in relationships.

The seminar week is part of a larger collaboration between BUas and Audencia, encompassing student and lecturer exchanges in the field of media and communications (Creative Business).

A heartfelt thank you to all AGM lecturers who have founded this programme (Olivier Davis, Mark McInnis, Silke Regel) and the ALE (Niels Wittkamp) lecturers who joined at a later stage, as well as coordinator Evy Faivre, for their commitment over the years, making this programme a valuable learning experience for everyone.
