'T KAG turns Caring Community into action
Student association 't KAG raised €3,000 for the Friends of BUas Fund at its annual Charity Dinner.
On 6 May, 't KAG hosted its Charity Dinner, this year dedicated entirely to Friends of BUas. The fund provides BUas students with a safety net at the moments that matter most: financial hardship, personal crisis, or the opportunity a talented student cannot quite reach on their own.
The evening was more than a fundraiser. It was a demonstration of students standing up for their fellow students. Ingrid Timmermans, board member of Friends of BUas, spoke about the fund's impact and captured the essence of what BUas means by a Caring Community.
't KAG will continue fundraising until the end of the academic year. The official cheque presentation, with the final total, takes place in October.
