New mhbo programme launched
More and more senior general secondary education (havo) students are considering enrolling in a vocational education (mbo) programme after their final exams. Breda University of Applied Sciences (BUas) and Koning Willem I College are eager to support this group with the new mhbo Hotel programme.

Havo and vwo (pre-university education) students who feel that higher professional education (hbo) is too big of a leap can now take an intermediate step. This new programme also helps young people who are unsure about their further studies or have difficulty making a choice.
2 years of mbo + 3 years of hbo
With a havo or vwo diploma, a student can obtain an mbo level 4 diploma in two years through the mhbo programme of the Hospitality Management course at Koning Willem I College. Afterwards, the student progresses to the second year of BUas Hotel Management, where they can obtain their bachelor’s degree in three years.
