What is the UNESCO UNITWIN Network?
The UNITWIN/UNESCO Chairs Programme fosters international collaboration between universities to promote education, research, and knowledge sharing. Through this initiative, institutions worldwide work together to address pressing global challenges.
The role and impact of KreativEU
The newly established UNITWIN Network, led by the KreativEU alliance, will focus on Heritage Preservation, Science, Communication, and Sustainable Communities. The network unites universities, NGOs, and local communities from Europe, Asia, and Africa to:
- Advance research and education in cultural and natural heritage.
- Promote sustainable community development through science and communication.
- Strengthen global cooperation in heritage management and conservation.
A global opportunity for collaboration
With this recognition, BUas and its partners will gain new opportunities for cross-border collaboration in research and education. Students, researchers, and academics will benefit from increased mobility, joint research initiatives, and engagement with international networks in cultural heritage and sustainability.
This achievement underscores KreativEU’s mission to harness knowledge and creativity for a more sustainable future. We look forward to working with partners worldwide to drive meaningful impact in heritage preservation and beyond.
