The annual introduction week for new students has officially started!
This year, the domains of Leisure & Events, Tourism, and AI, Games & Media joined forces to create a memorable first week of the academic year during ‘Unexpected Journey’. At the same time, Built Environment & Logistics provides a comprehensive introduction programme in and around Breda, while all Hotel & Facility students come together in Oosterhout for the 'Intersib'. The intention of the introduction week is simple: have fun, make new connections, and get to know BUas and the city of Breda.

Meet your fellow students
The first day focuses on getting to know one’s classmates and BUas. Over 1560 students immerse themselves in a comprehensive programme on our campus or on camping grounds in Oosterhout, building the foundation for new lasting friendships.
Sport, team building, music and sing-along
The second part of the programme, from Tuesday to Friday, takes place at a camping or outside the BUas campus. After arriving and settling into their various accommodation sites, students explore the grounds through engaging team-building activities and fun assignments. On Tuesday, the introduction days were officially launched during an evening celebration filled with live music and entertainment. On Wednesday, it is time to compete against other classes during the sports and games programme. Furthermore, there are activities like a sing-along, musical bingo, a boat tour, theme night and plenty of time to relax and make new friends.
