BUas students host culinary evening for Queen Máxima at King Willem I Prize Networking Event

Last night, Queen Máxima was a guest at the Breda University of Applied Sciences campus for the networking event organised by the King Willem I Foundation.

  • About BUas

Her Majesty was warmly welcomed by Ingrid Timmermans (Vice President of BUas), Arjen van Drunen (Deputy Mayor of the Municipality of Breda) and Martijn van Gruijthuijsen (Deputy King's Commissioner in the Province of Noord-Brabant). The event was attended by members of the Dutch press.

In a panel discussion in the BUas chapel, the winners of the King Willem I Prize 2024 – Royal Cosun, Lagemaat Sloopwerken and Fairphone – shared their vision of innovation and the future of entrepreneurship in the Netherlands together with young talents. The presentation was led by Talitha Muusse.

Our Hotel Management students and Sibelicious training restaurant provided the culinary experience for the evening. What an honour!
