Campus Connect: A celebration of community and well-being at BUas
On Tuesday, 23 September, the heart of the BUas campus came alive with music, plenty of opportunities to socialise, and meaningful connections during Campus Connect. This vibrant outdoor event shows that university life is not just about studying - it's about building relationships, exploring interests, and feeling part of a vibrant, supportive community.
- About BUas
The middle square transformed into a buzzing hub of activity - with upbeat sounds from a live DJ, a photobooth capturing smiles and memories, and games like ping pong and giant Jenga in front of the Lighthouse, the atmosphere was both festive and welcoming. Students enjoyed free drinks while mingling with peers, exploring opportunities, and learning more about what BUas has to offer beyond the classroom.
Students had the chance to:
- Pitch their own event ideas for a chance to receive up to €1000 in funding
- Join student associations or one of the many free BUas Clubs
- Start their own Club, turning passions into community initiatives
- Get inspired and supported in their academic and personal journey
The event was organized by the Student Community and Student Well-being team, who are committed to making every student feel truly at home at BUas. Their efforts were clearly appreciated, as many attendees expressed how the event helped them feel more connected and informed about the resources available to them.
