The programme is highly practice-oriented, with projects that require you to get in touch with industry professionals.
Student Logistics Management

“I am now in my first year of International Logistics Management and I am very much enjoying it. Right from the very start, I felt comfortable because of the sociable and friendly atmosphere. This friendliness was very important to me, as it was lacking in my previous studies, causing me to quit sooner rather than later. The Logistics programme appealed to me because of my hobby to organise and oversee things, such as events. The degree programme fits in nicely with this hobby, because overseeing the entire complex flow of things is very important in logistics. The distance between lecturers and students is very small, which I personally like very much. Every class has a mentor, who keeps track of student progress. The lecturers are personal and accessible to students, so you can easily approach them if you have any questions. I am in a small class, which makes me feel like I’m not just a number. The study programme is very practice-oriented, with projects that require you to get in touch with industry professionals or to analyse the logistics process for real industry clients. This gives you a very clear idea of what working in logistics is like. The Logistics programme at BUas has a good balance between fun, social aspects and serious learning, which is why I am very much enjoying my time here on the campus and in the degree programme.”
I switched to Logistics in Bredal, my best decision ever!
Student Logistics Engineering

“After having done another study programme for a year before this (at TU Delft), I ended up in Breda. When I went to Delft, I hesitated between the programme there and my current Logistics Engineering programme here in Breda. At the time, I chose Delft, because that’s a real university and I had completed my pre-university education relatively easily. After a year of not enjoying my studies at all, I switched to Logistics in Breda after all, my best decision ever! I am so in the right place here. The people are great, the degree programme is great, and the atmosphere within the academy is super! After a fantastic introduction week, I got to join the organising team of this introduction event one year later. This was also a great experience. What really appeals to me about this course of study is the friendly atmosphere, the contact with lecturers and fellow students, and the practical orientation of the programme; you really know what you are doing. I can’t emphasise enough how happy I am that I made the right study choice after all!”
The lecturers try to include current issues in their classes and they often have experience in practice.
Student Logistics Management

“At first I didn’t really know what I wanted to study. After having lived in America for 10 months, my English language skills had strongly improved, which is why I decided to opt for a study programme that is taught in English. In the end, I chose the International Logistics Management degree programme of BUas. This programme teaches you to think in terms of processes and to find out how things really work. In addition, you will also take courses in warehousing, inventory management, and intermodal transport, of course. The lecturers try to include current issues in their classes and they often have experience in practice. This makes their classes very interesting. After your studies, a lot of career paths are open to you and the level of job guarantee is high.”
