What is on offer at The Hive?
The Hive hosts weekly watch parties, LAN parties, tournaments, and other events.
If you want to take your gaming to the next level, you can join an existing team or create your own and compete at the highest level in the Netherlands among students! We have teams in VALORANT, League of Legends, Counter Strike, and Rocket League!
In addition to recreational gaming and esports, you can also propose projects or collaborations with your academy, so you can combine your studies and gaming!
Leisure and Events Management
Would you like to know everything there is to know about the world of esports? In the Leisure & Events Management programme, you can enrol in the Sports & Esports specialisation from the second year onwards. You will learn about the experience of sports and esports, not so much from the perspective of participants (who practise (e)sports (professionally) or are involved in them), but more from the perspective of spectators and fans.
In the fourth year of study, you can also take the minor in Esports Event & Media Management. This minor introduces you to important players in the field of esports, one of the greatest success stories in the entertainment industry. You will learn how to develop, produce and market electronic sports events.
