Planning is an important aspect of your studies
Lisanne
What I like about our Creative Business programme is that it leads to new possibilities. Because of the varied assignments you learn a lot, even about things you never even imagined you’d want to know. The lecturers are passionate about their jobs, which is contagious. You get the opportunity to express yourself creatively, but at the same time in a goal-oriented manner!
One of your courses is Production House, where you work on a project in a group of students. My favourite Production House assignment so far is the short film. There’s so much more involved in production than you think! Planning is an important aspect of your studies in general, but during this assignment in particular. The new campus is not far from the train station and Breda has a beautiful city centre, with charming cafés serving lots of delicious drinks. If you have a bike, you can get to anywhere you want in no time.
Long hours and a lot of overtime but in the end it will be worth it

“During my time at BUas I learned to work a camera, my mind and my soul. It will be long hours and a lot of overtime but in the end it will be worth it. My favourite things to do were the creative courses like: Creative Writing, making our own documentary about Richi, de trommelaar van Breda. My least favourite? The bane of my existence? Financial Management! Please take it super serial.”
