ATPM scholarship

Students who are studying Leisure & Events, Tourism or Facility Management may opt for the specialisation track of Attractions & Theme Parks Management in their second year. 
IAAPA Foundation, from the United States, is an important partner of Breda University of Applied Sciences.  IAAPA Foundation offers a scholarship to international (non-Dutch) students.  

Conditions and guidelines  

The student must be enrolled at Breda University of Applied Sciences and must have been admitted into the specialisation track of Attractions & Theme Parks Management

• The student is international (non-Dutch) 
• Two scholarships are available every academic year. The scholarship allowance consists of tuition fees for two academic years. This money will be transferred as a one-off lump sum. 
• Students may use the allowance to cover their tuition fees, but also to expand their network or to cover the costs of an international work placement. The basic rule is that the scholarship must be spent on the student’s education and professional development. 

Procedure

If you qualify for the scholarship, please follow the procedure below:  

• Submit a motivational letter and curriculum vitae in September, explaining how you wish to invest the money to acquire more industry contacts. 
• Take part in a selection interview with two lecturers in October.  
• The students selected for the scholarship will be announced at the annual IAAPA Expo in Orlando. Students will receive a confirmation from the lecturer concerned and from the IAAPA Foundation.
