Updates

Update 23 December 2021

Breda University of Applied Sciences (BUas) would like to inform its (potential) Erasmus+ partners about Inter-Institutional Agreements (IIA’s) in the new Erasmus + programme (2021/2022 - 2027/2028).

On this page, we’ll share updates about the process and timeline for the renewal process at BUas.

When will we start signing IIA’s?

To prepare a smooth digital signing process of our agreements, it is important to discuss the cooperation conditions beforehand via email (number of students, the total number of months, mobility type, subject area code, study cycle and language levels). The Global Engagement Team will contact you about the cooperation conditions.

We will be connecting to the EWP network through a third party provider Osiris and we expect to be officially connected to the network before May 2022.

Extension of KA103 agreements under 2020 & 2021 call

As announced on the 23rd of December 2021 the European Commission considers all current inter-institutional agreements between higher education institutions still to be valid for student and staff mobilities to be organised under Erasmus+ KA103 and Erasmus + KA131 projects , including those that will be selected under the 2020 call and 2021 call.

The validity of the current Inter-institutional agreements for KA103 and KA131 mobilities is extended by one year, i.e. covering also mobilities funded in the academic year 2022/23. This is to ensure that the renewals will be done by all higher education institutions within the same timescale, but before the set deadline of the European Commission of 31 December 2022.

All BUas KA103 agreements will be automatically extended until 31 August 2023, unless one of the parties terminates the agreement giving at least six months written notice. For partners in the UK, all KA103 agreements will be automatically extended until End of May 2023, unless agreed otherwise.

Update 1 October 2021

With the first call of the new Erasmus+ programme less than a year away, Breda University of Applied Sciences (BUas) would like to inform its (potential) Erasmus+ partners about Inter-Institutional Agreements (IIA’s) in the new Erasmus + programme (2021/2022 - 2027/2028).

When will we start signing IIA’s?

To prepare a smooth digital signing process of our agreements, it is important to discuss the cooperation conditions beforehand via email (number of students, the total number of months, mobility type, subject area code, study cycle and language levels). In the Summer and Fall of 2021, the Global Engagement Team will contact you about the cooperation conditions.

We hope to be able to sign agreements via the EWP network from December 2021. However, we will know for sure if this is possible at the end of October 2021. If necessary, we are able to sign a paper version of the agreement.
