Agenda Conscious Destinations

CELTH contributes to conscious destinations, by putting together and executing a knowledge agenda for the hospitality domain.

CELTH, the Centre of Expertise Leisure, Tourism & Hospitality, is a cooperation between Breda University of Applied Sciences, HZ University of Applied Sciences and NHL Stenden University of applied sciences.

CELTH has its own integrated knowledge agenda: the Agenda Conscious Destinations (ABB). This agenda is focussed on optimizing the societal value of the hospitality domain. The aim is to develop and disseminate the knowledge and skills that will allows the hospitality domain realise optimal social, ecological, and economic impacts, leading to the highest possible quality of life (for residents and visitors), experience (for residents and visitors) and work (for employees and companies). In the agenda, we distinguish between the themes “Living environment”, “Human capital”, “Organising Capacity”, “Smartness” and “Leisure offer”. Within each theme and across themes, relevant research questions have been defined. These act as a guideline for CELTH and its industry, knowledge, and education partners to develop new research projects.
