On our new campus in Breda, Innovation Square provides a platform for students, graduate students, researchers and industry professionals from Breda and far beyond.

Through applied and academic research, Breda University of Applied Sciences is committed to developing knowledge in the domains in which it operates. 

Breda University of Applied Sciences organises and hosts several conferences, symposiums and seminars. These business events are an excellent opportunity to exchange knowledge and views. The discussions that arise during these events inspire participants to further develop their own professional ideas and initiatives.  

With over 50 years of experience, Breda University of Applied Sciences has built up an extensive network of national and international partners. We cooperate closely with companies in various sectors, which enables us to acquire practical assignments for our students. It also inspires the design of our curriculum. 

Restaurant Sibelicious, a student training company of the hotel and facility degree programmes, is entirely run by students. Offering first-class hospitality and memorable visitor experiences are the restaurant’s guiding principles.

 Since September 2019, BUas has hosted 14 American teaching assistants who are coming to the Netherlands through the Fulbright English Teaching Assistant Program.
