  • Lunch 
  • Guest lecture Virginia van der Wel - Policy Advisor / Erasmus+ coordinator digital at Nuffic
  • Workshop about digitalization within internationalization
  • Get together at the Buas sports bar with typical Dutch snacks

Tuesday April 25th 

  • Guest lecture by former director of the Efteling. The efteling is one of the best themed amusement parks in the world and one of Buas industry partners
  • Departure to the Efteling in Kaatsheuvel
  • Workshop assignment in the Efteling
  • We all get to enjoy some free time in the Efteling, check out he attractions and more information about the park

Wednesday April 26th 

  • Guest lecture by Nina Saunders – expat from the US living and working in Breda
  • Grand tour to get to know our different academies/programs

Thursday April 27th

  • Free time to enjoy Kings Day in the Netherlands. King’s Day may well be the best party in Holland. On 27th of April, we celebrate King Willem Alexander’s birthday with music, street parties, flea markets, and fun fairs. Make sure to bring some orange clothing this day


 

Guest speakers

Virginia van de Ster-van der Wel

Virginia van der Ster-van der Wel works at the National Agency Erasmus+, as policy advisor and priority coordinator Digitalisation. When in 2018 the European Commission launched a Digital Education Action Plan, an important role was allocated to Erasmus+. Virginia's responsibilities lie within developing, implementing, and maintaining a cross-sector digitalisation policy and supporting practices within the framework of the Erasmus+ programme. She also worked for BUas for 16 years as an International Relations Officer.

Nina Saunders

Nina Saunders is a lifelong educator artist, world traveler, and collaborative community builder who is impassioned to continue to inspire and empower future generations to broaden their minds through education. She specializes in recruiting, coaching, and inspiring a collaborative team that works to devise innovative approaches to education. She has worked in Theatre & Media as an actor, director, lighting/sound designer, production manager, and scriptwriter. Nina will tell us more about her experiences and life in Breda and at BUas.
