Curriculum
The central focus during the Boosting Collaborative Creativity course will be on the question of how to ignite organisational and/or social transformation in the direction desired. You will be immersed into the world of co-creation, imagination and dialogue, with the spotlights on topics such as:
- Creativity

- Poetic Activism
- Concepting
- Experience Research & Design
- Intercultural Communication
This microcredential contains theoretical materials as well as practical tools and activities that provide discussion and invite reflection on creativity, innovation and meaning-making; the basic components of organisational and social transformation.

Study load & coaching
For this microcredential, there are six compulsory lecture days in class, on Mondays from 10.00 to 17.00 hrs. Besides that, there are 55 optional presence hours on Wednesdays and/or Thursdays, from 10.00 to 17.00 hrs. The total study load is eight ECTS credits. With one ECTS credit being equivalent to 28 hours of study, this means that the programme has a study load of approximately 37 hours per week.
This course will be coordinated and supervised by two Imagineering lecturers. These lecturers will be available for consultation and formative assessment at several moments during the course. Furthermore, they will be responsible for the final, summative assessment of your Ideation Portfolio.
Study method
As a student, you are encouraged to manage your individual learning journey proactively from start to finish by accurately monitoring the process, reflect on it, and making it tangible in a personal portfolio. Via this document you can show you developed a designer’s mindset in which creative confidence, empathy, ambiguity, tolerance, and the ability to learn from failures and optimism are well integrated.
In addition to the above, you are invited to co-create the collective learning journey with your fellow students. The course is deliberately designed as an interactive educational experience in which there is room for experimentation and iteration for and with all participants. You will be joining the class of the Master Imagineering.
Practical information
Date
A six-week course from 13 November to 19 December 2023. You will be expected at school every Monday from 10.00 to 17.00 hrs. There are optional presence hours on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
Location
Our beautiful green campus is situated at Mgr. Hopmansstraat in Breda. Courses are in the Ocean Building.
Costs
The costs for this microcredential are 2,500 euro.
Edubadge
To complete the Boosting Collaborative Creativity course successfully you will hand in your ‘Ideation Portfolio’. This serves as proof of your (new) knowledge, skills, abilities and potential as an Imagineer. The challenge is to develop an authentic, professional as well as inspirational portfolio. You are free to choose the exact content as well as structure of your Ideation Portfolio. Furthermore, you are free in the way you want to design it, however, it should be digital.
If you finish this module successfully, you will receive an Edubadge, a recognised digital certificate. This microcredential will be provided at NLQF level 7.
