Please, find your level of education in the list of [non-Dutch diplomas compared with the Dutch educational system.](https://www.buas.nl/documents/comparable-eductions.pdf) This list is not complete, if your diploma is not in this list **we advise you to apply**. After having received your application, we will inform you if you meet the educational requirements. If there is any doubt, we will have **your diploma evaluated by Nuffic** (the Netherlands Organization for International Cooperation in Higher Education) for advice. Minimum score of 169 (overall and speaking) - **IELTS Academic:** Minimum score of 6.0 (overall and speaking) - **TOEFL iBT:** iBT Minimum score of 80 (overall), 20 (speaking) - **Pearson PTE Academic:** Minimum score of 61 (overall and speaking) - **LanguageCert Academic:** Minimum score of 65 (overall and speaking) **Please note:** All tests must be taken at an official test centre. Exemptions from taking the English testYou do not need to submit an English test if: - You graduated from Dutch havo or vwo or mbo 4 - You hold an International Baccalaureate (IB) diploma, Career-related Programme Certificate of the IB, US High School diploma, GCE A(S) levels, or European Baccalaureate certificate (English Language 1 or 2) - Your previous education (completed secondary school or university) was taught in English in a native English-speaking country (Australia, Canada \[except Quebec\], Ireland, New Zealand, UK, USA) - You hold a diploma listed by Nuffic with English as one of the exam subjects. There is a good chance that you can start in the second year of the course. Then we have a solution for you: an mhbo track. Together with De Rooi Pannen, BUas offers a programme that allows you to obtain a secondary vocational education (mbo 4) diploma *and* a higher professional education (hbo) diploma in your field of interest in five years!
