 # Online information session - Creative Media and Game Technologies (Games)

In Creative Media and Game Technologies, you will work on creating real games. You choose your own specialisation (Programming, Visual Arts, Game Design, or Business & Production) when you apply for the programme. During your studies, you work in game labs, and you can make use of advanced facilities such as our XR Stage, Motion Capture Studio, and Photogrammetry Studio. You will find out how the programme is structured and what to expect. You can ask questions live in the chat.

 ### What is an online information session?

An online information session of BUas is a live session in which lecturers and students tell you about the programme, the selection process and how to prepare for it, and our small-scale campus in Breda. You can follow the session from home and ask your questions live.

### What can you expect?

During this live Twitch session, lecturers and students will tell you more about the programme’s content, show you examples of projects, and provide further information on what your first year will be like. You can ask questions live throughout the session.

### How does it work?

The session is livestreamed on Twitch. Here’s how it works:

1. Sign up. You will receive an email with the link to the stream.
2. Click on the link. You can watch in your browser or via the Twitch app.
3. Would you like to ask questions in the chat? If so, please create a free Twitch account before the session. You can also just watch without an account.

## Frequently asked questions

How long does an online information session last?The session lasts between 1 hour and 1.5 hours.

Do I have to participate?No, participation in an online information session is completely optional. The purpose of the session is to help you get a better understanding of the programme.

What do I need?A laptop, tablet or phone with an internet connection. You can watch via Twitch, in your browser or in the app. Would you like to ask questions? Then make sure to create a free Twitch account in advance.

I've never used Twitch – can I still participate? Yes. Just click the link in the email and the stream starts by itself.
